Capital gifts support new construction, major renovations, endowment, and bold program initiatives. Such projects not only improve the campus environment, they permit Stevenson to continue to offer programs that meet the changing needs of our students. Past campaigns include the Campaign for Stevenson. Today, Stevenson is looking forward to realize all of the goals demonstrated in the Master Plan, including the renovation and expansion of Casco Dormitory, construction of additional residential faculty housing, the addition of a new health, wellness and fitness center, and an increased endowment to support student scholarships and faculty compensation. Stevenson continues to look to the future; planning innovative and exciting ways to meet our other Master Plan goals. We hope you will consider supporting us as we look ahead towards Stevenson’s exciting future.
We are currently in the “pre-silent” phase of a new Capital Campaign. Most recently our landmark Campaign for Stevenson, completed in 2003, exceeded its fundraising goal and raised $27 million with gifts ranging from $10 to $2 million. Through it we were able to build the Rosen Family Student Center, the Atwood Family dormitory, grow the endowment significantly, and refurbish the Carmel Campus Administration Offices and redesign the Carmel Campus gymnasium into a state of the art dance studio. Though Stevenson still has physical plant and endowment needs, we are truly honored by our community’s unprecedented support. This has made our beautiful learning environment and facilities for current and future students possible. Stevenson’s capital campaigns are essential to ensuring the long-term success of the school.
