Happy hearts and happy faces, happy play in grassy places...
That was how, in ancient ages, children grew to kings and sages."
by Robert Louis Stevenson
Welcome to Kindergarten! The Kindergarten classroom is named "The Enchanted Garden." Robert Louis Stevenson’s poetry opens a window into an enchanted land where beneficent brownies and fairies live within the garden of youthful mind in A Child’s Garden of Verses. "The Enchanted Garden" is a very busy place. The students start their day with circle time, where they learn about the weather and the calendar, practice math by counting to 100, and sing songs and dance to music. Students learn about interesting and exciting science topics, like the rain forest, insects, and butterflies. They love to write class books during language arts time, and create pictures for their stories during art time. For specific curriculum information, please see the Kindergarten Program Details below.
Children applying to Kindergarten must turn 5 years old by September 10 of their enrollment year.
