Tuition and Financial Aid

When asked, many parents of school-aged children in public schools say they would enroll their child in an independent school if they could afford it. However, most families never investigate the option due to concerns regarding the cost. An independent school education is affordable. Stevenson Tuition
(Carmel Campus, Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 8)

The comprehensive tuition fee for the 2013-14 school year:

Pre-Kindergarten 4 half days: $8,000
Pre-Kindergarten 4 full days: $10,900
Pre-Kindergarten 5 half days: $9,600
Pre-Kindergarten 5 full days: $12,900

Kindergarten: $17,400

Grades 1 through 8: $21,600

The comprehensive fee covers tuition and a range of day care and camp options beyond the regular school day. Morning day care is available from 7:30-8 am, and after-school activities are available from 3-5 pm, with evening day care extending the day to 5:30 pm.

Junior Camp—a full-day, five-week program—is available during the summer for children in Kindergarten through fourth grade. Students in fifth grade can participate in Summer Camp at the Pebble Beach Campus, also a full-day, five-week program.

Additional expenses may include uniforms, laptop computer, and Science Camp.
