Alumni Association

The Stevenson Alumni Association was created by and for alumni, to serve them and the school. Membership in the Association is granted all graduates and students who were enrolled for at least a year.

Mission

The mission of the Association is to maintain and build a close relationship between alumni and Stevenson, and to encourage their involvement in every aspect of the school's operation.

How Alumni Serve

Alumni serve Stevenson as trustees and advisors, class representatives and fund-raisers, admission representatives and hosts, and as contributors to its financial wellbeing. Indeed, the physical campus as it is today is a testament to alumni support and commitment.

In addition, ever alumnus is an ambassador for Stevenson. The school is proud of alumni accomplishments; it is proud to be associated with them in their achievements. To see "he/she is an alumnus of Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, California" in the jacket of a book, in an article published in a journal or newspaper, or in a website biography means that the school's good name is being carried to a larger and larger audience.

Association Activities

To help include and involve alumni in the school, the Association supports regular communication in the form of school and alumni news designed to inform alumni about each other and keep them current on developments at Stevenson.

The Association also supports regular regional alumni gatherings that include Stevenson representatives, an annual Alumni Reunion Weekend on campus, and informal gatherings such as the annual Alumni Lacrosse and Basketball Games and other special functions for younger or special interest alumni.

Each year the Assocation recognizes members of the Junior Class through the Robert U. Ricklefs Scholar Award; the accomplishment of young alumni through the Samuel Kahn Award; the service of alumni to society through the Merle Greene Robertson Award; and contributions to Stevenson through the Day Family Award.
