The photography program at Stevenson School offers training in the full spectrum of photographic media from traditional black-and-white film to state-of-the-art digital photography. Students may choose to take a single class as a visual arts elective. More serious photographers can pursue a multiyear course of study over 2-3 years.
Photography students often take field trips to expand their visual horizons. These photos were taken by the Advanced Digital Photography class on a field trip to the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco recently. The images were captured with a digital single-lens reflex camera, then edited with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom software on either Mac or Windows computers.
