Carmel Campus (Grades PK-8)

The Carmel Campus athletics program is divided into two programs that support each other year round:

  • Physical Education Program
  • After-School Sports Program

Both programs aim to promote lifetime health and fitness while providing students with the opportunity to develop positive self image and social skills as well as the opportunity to participate in group activities that are structured according to age and ability. Both programs also emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, social interaction, and learning to follow and play by the rules.

Our school competes with other independent and public schools in a competitive sports league. These schools include:

  • All Saints' Day School
  • Carmel Middle School
  • Chartwell School
  • Junipero Serra School
  • Pacific Grove Middle School
  • San Carlos School
  • Santa Catalina School

Competitive sports include:

  • soccer
  • flag-football
  • basketball
  • golf
  • tennis

The competitive sports program takes place on Monday through Thursday afternoons. Depending on the sport, students in grades five through eight are eligible to participate.
