Fine Arts

The Lower and Middle School Fine Arts Program consists of three disciplines: art, dance, and music. The art, dance, and music teachers work together and are supportive of each other’s programs and activities, and often times all three programs come together to showcase the students’ talents. All Lower and Middle school students participate in art, dance, and music classes and special events, such as the annual Art Show, Middle School winter concert and spring musical, and the Lower School Nutcracker Ballet.

The Fine Arts Program utilizes Keck Auditorium at the Upper School for some of the students' performances throughout the year. Students stay interested in the fine arts—not only because it brings approval, recognition, and even applause, but also simply because it’s fun. The art, dance, and music programs provide a rich and engaging curriculum that encourages students to challenge themselves—to look beyond their horizons, to develop new skills, to take risks, and to dream.
