Admission Event VolunteersOur Admission office is in need of parent volunteers on Saturday, December 7, March 20, March 27, and April 3. The December date is for our Open House and the March/ April dates are for our Looking Forward Days.
Admission ConversationalistsParent volunteers are needed to assist our Admission office by connecting with prospective and accepted parents/ students by phone or email as needed.
Annual Fund VolunteersThe Advancement Office is seeking parents to help support the fall Annual Fund campaign! This is a role that can be done primarily on your own schedule, by parents both near and far. Parents will attend a volunteer training and then have a variety of opportunities to support the campaign, including but not limited to: class parent outreach, attending phonathons, handing things out at carline, and presence at school events.
Baked Goods ProvidersBaked goods for various events, including performances and the Spring Carnival. Volunteers bake or purchase baked goods that are donated to the event.
Class Picnic VolunteersThis event takes place on Thursday, May 21. Parent volunteers are asked to help pass out food and provide desserts for the event.
Faculty/Staff Appreciation LuncheonThis annual luncheon to celebrate our teachers and staff is on Tuesday, April 14. Parent volunteers will work in groups to prepare meeting over the previous month or so to plan and execute the event. Then, on the day of the event, they will help serve at the luncheon.
Holiday Lantern LightingParent volunteers are asked to help set up the event, hand out lanterns and oversee the lantern activities. Then, after the event concludes, they are asked to assist with clean-up. This event takes place on Thursday, December 5.
Prom Send-OffParent Volunteers will meet as a group beginning in March and plan for this event which takes place on Saturday, May 16. On the day of the event, parents will gather to set up in Douglas Hall from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm, then return to host the event from 4:00 pm- 5:00 pm.
Senior LuncheonSenior parents are invited to volunteer for this activity. Planning begins in March for this luncheon to celebrate the senior class. The Senior Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, April 22.
Sophomore EXPO ReturnSophomore parents are invited to volunteer for this activity. There is a potluck sign up for side dishes and drinks, and one parent is asked to pick up the main food, usually sandwiches, on the day of the event. Parents arrive before the students return that day to set up and prep the food. This event takes place during Spring break in March.
Spring CarnivalThis event takes place on Saturday, April 25. Parent volunteers are asked to support the student volunteers in the concession stand and the ticket booth. Also, baked goods are needed for the “Take the Cake” activity.
Spring Orientation BBQ "Meet and Greet"Parents volunteers are needed to welcome our newly enrolled parents at at Spring Orientation BBQ and visit with them during the event. This event is on Saturday, April 25.
Sweet Treats VolunteersOnce a term, parent volunteers hand-out “sweet treats” to the students during lunchtime.
