Learning During the Pandemic: Immediate Needs
This fall marks the start of Stevenson's 68th year and the first time that classes will begin with students and teachers convening online, connecting with one another from their homes around the Monterey Peninsula and around the world by virtual means. The School is committed to maintaining its high standards for teaching and learning while in this mode--which we hope will only be in effect until January. Doing so will require considerable additional investments in technology, supplies, and infrastructure--not all of which can be made solely on the basis of reducing other expenses. With a keen eye on sustaining our mission in the face of the pandemic, we are looking to our extended community to help support these urgent needs, thus providing the best possible experience for our students and teachers during this period and beyond.
