Freshman Curtis Da Silva traveled to Scottsdale earlier this month to complete in the AT&T Junior League World Championship Tournament. He had to win numerous sub-regional and regional tournaments to become part of the team representing California.
Team California placed 3rd in the tournament. Curtis and his teammate teamed up to shoot a total of 29 under par in their six, 9-hole matches en route to racking up a team-leading 13.5 flags. They were the only team not to lose a match during the entire PGA Jr. league season. Congratulations, Curtis!
